Before you start with us there there is some information which will be useful for you to know.


The information provided on this page is useful to know prior to your start date. Once you have started with us your employing Service will also provide a more detailed induction covering the information you need to carry out your job this will include:

·         Essential policies and procedures for your job.

Code of Conduct

All Inverclyde Council employees are expected to adhere to the Council's Code of Conduct which can be downloaded by using the links on this page.

Conditions of Service

The Conditions of Service Summary and Full Conditions of Service for Local Government Employees are available for download on this page. These documents give details of holiday entitlements, pension contribution rates, and other benefits such as occupational maternity & adoption benefits, occupational sickness provisions and salary progression information.

Conditions of Service for Teachers are available on the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers (SNCT) website (link is available on this page). Teachers Conditions of Service are agreed nationally via the SNCT.
