Local Employability Partnership (LEP)

Inverclyde’s Local Employability Partnership is the strategic employability partnership in Inverclyde.  It supports the implementation of local and national employability policy, making best use of resources available at any given time, to enable the delivery of a range of employability services to an all age client group, with a focus on those who have particular barriers to employment.

Representatives from key partners contribute to LEP meetings to shape and influence employability services.  The partners are:-

Inverclyde Council – Regeneration;  Community Learning & Development;   MCMC;  Education

Inverclyde Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP)

West College Scotland

DWP (Jobcentre Plus)

Skills Development Scotland (SDS)

Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce

Inverclyde CVS (third sector interface)

Current work of the LEP includes the development of an Inverclyde Employability Delivery Plan for 2022-25, which is available in the Documents Section of this page.
