Community Safety Partnership

The Inverclyde Community Safety Partnership was established as a way of working together, by sharing information, to ensure communities feel safe.

The Community Safety Partnership comprises of Inverclyde Council, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, River Clyde Homes, Oak Tree Housing Association, Cloch Housing Association, Larkfield Housing Association and Link Housing Association.

Our Community Safety Strategic Assessment identified two priority outcomes for the Partnership during the period 2015/17:

Reducing violence, crime and disorder in our communities
Reducing unintentional harm and promoting wellbeing and safety in our communities

The Community Safety Partnership developed an action plan to deliver these outcomes. Actions include initiatives to improve fire safety to help reduce unintentional harm and the introduction of ‘public reassurance initiatives’ in Lynedoch Street and Broomhill.
