Active Schools Co-ordinator - Port Glasgow High Cluster
Hi my name is Ross Stewart and I am the Active Schools Co-ordinator for Port Glasgow High, which includes: Newark and Kilmacolm Primary Schools along with Port Glasgow High School.
My aim is to encourage the community of Port Glasgow/Kilmacolm to become more active more often by coordinating school and community activities. I am particularly keen to provide opportunities for young people who are currently inactive or do not like taking part in sport.
An important part of my job is to establish and develop new ways of engaging children in physical activity and provide a link to local clubs to give them a chance to develop their skills and keep them active.
