Draft Inverclyde Outcome Improvement Plan

As part of the requirements under the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015, Inverclyde Alliance has to produce a Local Outcome Improvement Plan.  A Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) is the high level strategic document for the Community Planning Partnership, setting out the vision and priorities which the partners, including communities, will seek to deliver on over the next 5 years.  The LOIP does not cover everything that is being delivered in Inverclyde, but focusses on three key priority areas: Repopulation; Reducing Inequalities; and Environment, Culture and Heritage.

A consultative draft has been produced which has been informed by the Our Place Our Future consultation and a Strategic Needs Analysis of many statistics for Inverclyde.  The Our Place Our Future consultation will be further used to develop the Locality Plans for Inverclyde, with more detail of priorities featuring there. Copies of the relevant documents can be downloaded from the documents section on this page.

The timeline for the publication of the Plan is as follows:

  • 2 October 2017- The Draft Plan was discussed at the Alliance Board
  • W/C 2 October:  Plan will be available on the Inverclyde Council website for public feedback following the Board meeting (consultation period ending 31 October)
  • November - Final changes made and revised Plan distributed to Board
  • LOIP will be considered at the Alliance Board meeting on 15 December and subject to approval, formally published thereafter.

Please  submit any comments or changes that you have on any of the LOIP documents to either Lynsey Logsdon (Lynsey.logsdon@inverclyde.gov.uk) or Karen McCready (Karen.mccready@inverclyde.gov.uk) as soon as possible and no later than  31 October 2017.
