Consultation on the Proposed Sale of Land at Kilmacolm Road, Greenock

Inverclyde Council proposes to dispose of land at Kilmacolm Road, Greenock extending to 0.063Ha (634.94sqm) or thereby and has published a notice to this effect in a local newspaper in terms of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1959 S.27 (2A) (as amended).

The proposal is that the land is sold to Reos Limited for market value. The prospective purchaser intends constructing a small retail development on this land plus additional adjacent land. The intention is to construct two blocks containing approximately seven units in total with onsite parking provision. Access will be taken from Kilmacolm Road.

Any person may object to the proposal either by email to property@inverclyde.gov.uk or in writing to the Head of Legal and Property Services at the address shown in the contacts section of this page.

Objections and representations should be made by no later than 5pm on 8 January 2021 and should state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that the content of any objectsion or representations made and the details of the party or parties making such representations will appear in a publically available report to the Council’s Environment and Regeneration Committee.
