Residents can get their first look at plans for a new health and social care centre in Greenock.

Information sessions have been set up in early November where residents, service users, patients and staff can see the plans.

They’ll also be able to find out more about what services will be in the new centre which is set to be located on the former Wellington Academy site in the town.

The centre is planned to open in 2020 replacing the current, ageing Greenock Health Centre in Duncan Street.

Inverclyde’s Health and Social Care Convener, Councillor Robert Moran, said: “The new health and care centre is about to go through its formal planning application process.  These three information sessions
