Registration weekend service reminder

Residents are being reminded that during the coronavirus pandemic, council registration services across Scotland are now open seven days-a-week.

Inverclyde council leader, Councillor Stephen  McCabe, said: "Our registration service is now open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 1pm to support families during this difficult time.  It will mean that they do not need to wait until Monday to register the death of a loved one and council staff will be available at the weekend to provide the necessary support.  Staff will be available by phone and email to support residents to continue to maintain the necessary social and physical distancing rules in place nationally."

During the coronavirus pandemic council registration services are available seven days-a-week.  If residents in Inverclyde require to register a death, you can call on 01474 714250 or email registrars@inverclyde.gov.uk on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 1pm.
