What is e-billing?
e-billing is a service which allows you to receive and view your Council Tax bills electronically instead of through the post. If you register for e-billing, you will be notified by email whenever a new bill is available which you will be able to access instantly by following the link. You can register for e-billing at any time.
How to sign up for e-billing
Please complete the E-Billing form found in the Related links section of this webpage. When you are due to receive a Council tax notice, the new e-billing solution will send you an email to view, download and keep a copy of your bill, by clicking a link in the email and entering your postcode.
If you need a copy of prior Council tax notices, please get in touch by email council.tax@inverclyde.gov.uk and we will arrange it for you.
Benefits of e-billing include:
- Faster access to bills, so you can see your bill as soon as it’s available
- You will always know where your bill is as it is securely stored online
- You can download and print your bill if needed, for example to show proof of address.
- It reduces the amount of paper used and is therefore more resource efficient, reducing impacts on our environment
- It helps us reduce printing and postage costs, so we have more money to spend on services.
By signing up for e-billing you:
- Agree to notify the Council of any change in your email address
- Agree that all your bills from the Council will be issued to the email address provided
