High rise and tenemental collection service
Communal bins, serving some flatted and tenemental properties are uplifted at least once per week from storage points in designated areas.
A large number of flatted and tenemental properties also have large communal blue bins allowing residents to recycle dry materials.
Inverclyde Council's contractor in the Recycling Initiative is Greenlight Environmental Limited. Greenlight Environmental operates a doorstep recycling collection service in areas not covered by Kerbside Recycling.
Approximately 3,000 households, mainly high-rise and tenemental properties, are included in the project. Residents have been issued with containers to recycle dry materials. The containers are uplifted from the doorstep thereby allowing more people to participate in recycling and contribute to the increase in Inverclyde’s recycling figures.
Should you have an enquiry about the high rise and tenemental collection service, please call the Recycling Helpline or Greenlight Environmental Head Office 01389 721012.
