Renewal of Vows
At this stage, 25 June, this service is still suspended. We will update the pages as soon as we can with details of this service.
This ceremony is for any married couple wishing to celebrate the renewal of their vows in a unique and personal ceremony.
Often these ceremonies are associated with a special wedding anniversary such as a tenth or twenty-fifth however the ceremony is just as appropriate for couples at any stage of their marriage. It is sometimes particularly relevant to those who have been through a difficult period in their relationship but wish to celebrate their renewed commitment to each other. However, any married couple, of any age and married for any length of time can arrange a Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
A Renewal of Vows Ceremony has no legal status and is not legally binding on those who participate. The ceremony can be held at the Registration Office or at a venue agreed between the couple and the Registrar.
Registration fees can be found via the download Registration Fees. (Fees are subject to change after 1 April)
For further information, please contact the Registration Service (refer to Contacts section of the page).
