Pre Audit Inspection of Annual Accounts 2022-23

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with sections 101 and 195 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, Regulation 9 of the Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2014, that: Copies of the unaudited Annual Accounts and relevant documents of Inverclyde Integration Joint Board for the year ended 31 March 2023 will be available for public inspection either online at or in person by prior arrangement between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday at Hector McNeil House, Clyde Square, Greenock, PA15 1NB, from Monday 3rd  July 2023 to Friday 21st July 2023, both days inclusive.

Under the 2014 Regulations, any person interested may inspect a copy of the abstract(s) of the accounts to be audited, all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts related thereto and may take copies of any or all parts of the accounts.

The grounds of any objection to the unaudited Annual Accounts, or any part of them, should be submitted in writing by no later than 24th July 2023 to:

The auditor shall, if requested by the person objecting, the authority, or by any officer of the authority who may be concerned, afford to that person, authority or officer, as the case may be, an opportunity of being heard by the auditor with respect to that objection, and any such person or officer may so be heard either personally or by a representative.
