The Education and Lifelong Learning Committee has corporate responsibility for:

• School Estates Strategy
• Directorate planning, performance management reporting and financial monitoring for the following service areas:
  • Schools
  • Lifelong Learning and Education Support
  • Support and Development (Education)
• Overseeing the Council’s relationship with further education bodies, in particular, James Watt College of Further Education
