If you’re looking to improve your literacy and numeracy skills, you can get help at one of Inverclyde Council’s Community Learning and Development’s free drop-in sessions.
Inverclyde Council’s Vice Education Convenor Councillor Martin Brennan said: “These classes are a great opportunity for any adult who is looking to get better at reading, writing or working with numbers. Whether it’s to feel more confident before starting a college course, helping your child with their school homework or if you’re looking for help filling out application forms, our tutors are fully qualified to support you.”
There are a number of drop-in sessions available on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Port Glasgow and Greenock. Students are able to discuss with tutors what specific skills they require extra help with.
The drop-in times are as follows:
