Budget consultation drop in sessions

Inverclyde Council is set to start a budget consultation with residents on savings proposals.
The consultation starts on Monday 15 January 2018 and during the first week residents will have the chance to visit one of five drop-in sessions to find out more and have their say.
The consultation will examine a range of savings proposals and increases in charges.
Full details of the savings proposals will be available from Monday. An innovative budget simulator will also be available during the consultation period, which runs until 11 February, with details of the savings where residents can highlight their choices to achieve savings of £5m.
The five drop in events are being held at:
Gourock – Monday 15 January
Gamble Halls, Gourock, 4-8pm
Kilmacolm – Tuesday 16 January
Cargill Centre, Kilmacolm, 4-8pm
Greenock – Wednesday 17 January
Oak Mall Shopping Centre, Greenock, 11.30am – 3pm
Inverkip – Wednesday 17 January
Inverkip community hub, 4-7pm
Port Glasgow – Thursday 18 January
Port Glasgow library, 4-8pm
