Discover IT at Inverclyde Libraries
Inverclyde Council’s libraries are offering a range of free courses for learners with little or no experience with computers.
‘DiscoverIT@the Library’ will cover topics from using an iPad to learning how to download library eBooks, apps, Facetime and using email.
Advice will also be available for people needing help with their Android tablets or phones
Communities Convener Councillor Jim Clocherty said: “This is a great opportunity for people to get to grips with the basics of using devices. The modern digital world is fast-moving and changes almost on a daily basis so I am pleased we are able to offer this kind of help and advice to people.”
The four week courses run from Friday 6 April 2018 across Inverclyde Council’s libraries.
All are free and allocation of places is on a first-come first-served bases.
