Rankin Memorial Garden service returns
FAMILIES are invited to a service of remembrance for babies who have passed away.
The Rankin Memorial Garden Service returns after an enforced absence on Sunday 18 May 2025 at 2pm.
A service will be held in Greenock Crematorium and thereafter at the Rankin Memorial Garden where there will be an opportunity for families to remember their baby.

Afterwards, there will be refreshments back at the Crematorium.
The annual service returns following an enforced absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic and major improvement works at the Crematorium.
The service is an informal one, organised to commemorate the bereavement of the children in a simple yet meaningful way.
It is hoped those who attend the service and visit the Garden will continue to draw comfort from them as symbols of sympathy and support on the part of the wider community.
The service will be led by Reverend Jeanette Peel, chaplain at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Reverend Gerry Gallagher, of St Patrick’s RC Church, and Midwife Lesleyanne Lang.
