Standing Orders and Scheme of Administration
The Council's Standing Orders provide information on the procedures relating to Council, Committee, Sub-Committee and Board meetings.
The Council's Scheme of Administration regulates the allocation of the functions of the Council among the Committees, Sub-Committees and Boards and where appropriate the delegation of authority to exercise the functions of the Council.
The Scheme of Administration and Standing Orders can be downloaded from the link provided on this page.

Standing Orders Relating to Contracts. These regulate how the Council administers its contracts for the supply of goods or materials or the execution of works or the provision of services.
Scheme of Delegation (Officers). This regulates the matters on which officers may make decisions on behalf of the Council and describes what each officer post has responsibility for.
Scheme of Delegetion (Local Developments). This authorises officers to determine specified types of minor planning applications without referral to the Council’s Planning Board. Applications refused (or granted with conditions the applicant deems unreasonable) under this scheme may be reviewed at the request of the applicant by the Local Review Body (LRB). Follow the link on this page to the Planning Applications Procedures Page for more information about the LRB and the planning application process generally.
