Riverside Inverclyde is delighted to announce a new tenant for Custom House – PG Paper Company Ltd.

PG Paper Company Ltd is a growing, successful company based on the outskirts of Kilmacolm, currently employing 17 people. The company was established in 2003, initially focusing predominantly on paper but has since diversified into numerous sectors, requiring further expansion plans.

The recently extensive, high quality refurbishment to the Custom House’s lower West Wing, which was completed in May, will be the new home for PG Paper.

Poonam Gupta, CEO of PG Paper Company Ltd, said : “We are very excited about moving to bigger premises at Custom House in Greenock. PG Paper have enjoyed significant growth in the past few years, taking our international reach to new levels and we hope to continue this growth and success from our new home in Greenock. This expansion has meant taking on more talented employees and we are always on the look out for local talent, finding you don’t often have to look far!”

PG Paper will occupy the 395 square metres of the lower West Wing. The entire Custom House refurbishment project will eventually see the transformation of 1,698 square metres of variable-sized, multi occupancy office suites’ accommodation in the centre of Greenock.

The East Wing is home to Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Gryffe Studios and Be Positive. The final phase of works – to the upper West Wing – will commence later in the year.

Inverclyde Council’s vice convener for regeneration, Councillor Jim Clocherty, said: “A growing successful business like PG Paper recognising the talent and location right here in Inverclyde is a very positive message in the business community.   I am delighted that they are moving to new premises at the Custom House building, it’s a coming together of a qualtiy business location and quality Inverclyde business.”
