Vote Tele

The Greenock Telegraph's 'show some heart' campaign has been shortlisted for the Journalism Matters Regional Campaign of the Year Award, which will be decided by a public vote.
The campaign, run in tandem with a local family who tragically lost their son to a heart condition, not only raised £30,000 to equip every school in Inverclyde with life-saving defibrillators but also provided life-saving training across the district and is in the process of changing Scottish planning law to make sure every publicly accessible building over a certain size will require one of these vital pieces of equipment.
Greenock Telegraph editor, Brian Hossack said: "We feel it is a campaign that will affect real change, not only in the present, but for future generations across the country - and one that deserves recognition. But for that, we need your help. The vote closes at 5pm tomorrow.
"The team in Greenock would very much appreciate if you could help us by taking two minutes to vote by visiting http://journalismmatters.co/Making-a-Difference/
"If you could also share this on social media and among friends and contacts, that would be great."
