Customer Service Centre re-opens Wed 15 July on appointment only basis
Inverclyde Council’s Customer Service Centre re-opens on a strictly, appointment-only basis for a number of services on Wednesday 15 July 2020.
People will only be allowed into the Municipal Buildings at the time of their appointment. The new opening hours are 9am until 3pm.
No payment facilities are being offered and bills should be paid online, by phone, by post or at a Post Office or PayPoint.
Stephen McCabe, Leader of Inverclyde Council, said, “From Wednesday the Customer Service Centre will be offering a limited range of services on a strictly, appointment only basis. We are not welcoming back the public yet in the way that we would ideally want to but this is another sign that lockdown is progressively easing.
“Keeping everyone safe is our goal and we are asking visitors to follow some simple steps to help us achieve it.”
Customers are being asked to:
- Make an appointment in advance
- Arrive on time. There is no customer waiting area in operation
- Customers with coronavirus symptoms should cancel their appointment
