Home care workers needed
The Inverclyde Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is putting out an urgent call for home care workers to provide personal care and practical help to people in their own homes.
Councillor Robert Moran, Convener of Inverclyde Council’s, Health & Social Care Committee, said, “At the best of times our home care workers provide vital help and support to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Now, more than ever, we need their skill and compassion. We are launching an urgent recruitment drive to increase the number of staff we have available.”
As a social distancing measure, interviews will be done by phone. Normal recruitment checks will be done after that.
Evening and daytime positions are available with contract hours ranging from 12.25 hours a week to 28 hours. The hourly rate is £10.04 - £10.33.
