A8 trial dig roadworks
NOTICE FROM A8 OPERATOR AMEY SOUTH WEST:
ESSENTIAL TRIAL DIGS ON THE A8 IN GREENOCK
COMMENCE MONDAY 23rd JUNE 2025
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential trial digs on the A8 at East Hamilton Street in Greenock from Monday 23rd June until Friday 27th June 2025 between the hours of 9am and 4pm each day.
This work will be undertaken with single lane closures on the westbound carriageway.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by informing future works in this area.
