Fire at Pottery Street Depot, Greenock

UPDATE: 10.55am, Sunday 25 May, 2025

As a result of the fire at our Pottery Street Depot on Saturday 24 May, the Recycling Centre will remain closed to the public on Monday 26 May. Anyone with recycling or household waste is kindly asked to wait until further advice about access is available.

Please note, the A8 at East Hamilton/Pottery Street has now fully reopened in both directions.
