Adult Learning at the Library

Learning opportunities for adults at Inverclyde Libraries

Discover IT@ the Library

Inverclyde Libraries are proud to announce our new programme of fantastic and FREE IT and mobile phone/tablet sessions  (attached on the left of the page here for your information).  This runs from 13th January to 27th  March 2020 with all new course content based around Scotland’s Digital Participation Charter (https://digitalparticipation.scot/).  Along with the new Digital Storytelling session we began offering in September there is also a new beginner’s family history course running from the recently refurbished Watt Institution which is sure to be really popular.

Our small classes are led by our friendly and knowledgeable staff and will give attendees the confidence to make their chosen device work for them and get the most from it while also staying safe online

For more details of the classes please see the attached programme on the Documents section of the left-hand column

Online Courses

There are also free online courses available on the Internet that can help you become more confident using a computer. You can access these from home if you have a computer, laptop or mobile device, or use one of our PCs for free. You will find links here to the sites that can get you started.

Job Skills

If you need to improve your interview skills, or just want to learn how to produce a professional CV, the library can point you in the right direction. Please visit the Job Skills page for further details.
