Computing & iPad sessions and Device Advice appointments are run by library staff at various library branches throughout Inverclyde (sometimes with the help of volunteers).

What's IT all about?

This 4-week course is for learners with little or no experience of computers.

Bring IT on!

This 4-week course is for learners with basic knowledge who want to learn more.

iPad for Beginners

These basic iPad sessions cover settings, Safari, library e-resources, email, camera use, facetime and downloading apps.

Books for the Busy

Learn how to download library eBooks, eAudiobooks or eMagazines onto a tablet or iPad.

Device Advice

Need help with your Android tablet or mobile phone? Bring along your Android tablet or smartphone for free one-to-one help sorting out all those IT problems. We run regular half hour drop-in sessions in Central and Kilmacolm Libraries.

Online Courses

There are also free online courses available on the Internet that can help you become more confident using a computer. You can access these from home if you have a computer, laptop or mobile device, or use one of our PCs for free. You will find links here to the sites that can get you started.
