Important Bin Collection Update
We are working hard to continue delivering our key services.
The majority of our waste and recycling services are now back to the regular timetables.
Use the 'When are my bins collected?' link in the Related Links section of this page to check which day your bin/bag is collected.
Your fortnighty blue bin/bag collection has resumed.
Please present your blue bin/bag on the kerbside by 7am on your regular recycling collection day.
You CAN use your blue bin/bag to recycle:
You CANNOT use your blue bin/bag to recycle:
- plastic bags
- plastic film
- food waste
- residual household waste
- garden waste.
Your fortnighty black bin/bag collection has resumed.
Please present your black bin on the kerbside by 7am on your regular collection day.
No side waste will be collected.
Your kerbside food waste container is collected every week and should be placed on the kerbside by 7am on your regular collection day.
Householders wishing to recycle garden waste in an Inverclyde Council brown bin need to buy a seasonal garden waste permit.
Garden waste permits will be available to purchase in early in the new year. To register and pay for your permit in please follow the link.
Brown bins with permits should be presented on the kerbside by 7am on your regular recycling collection day.
Brown bins without permits will not be collected.
High Rise and Tenemental Recycling Collection Service
The recycling collection service from tenemental and flatted properties has resumed.
Recycling collections from high rise properties remains suspended until further notice.
