When are my bins collected?
Because your blue bin (or bag) and your brown bin will be collected one week and your black bin (or bag) the next, there are two parts to knowing when you should put your bins out for collection:
- What is your Bin (or bag) Collection Day?
- Which Recycling Week applies?
The links will provide you with this information:
- bin collection days. This will tell you which day of the week your bins or bags will be collected and which Recycling Calendar applies to your address. (The table is sorted in alphabetical order by street name)
- recycling calendar week 1 or week 2. This shows you, highlighted, which weeks to put out your recycling bins (your black bin and box go out on the weeks not highlighted).
Food waste containers are collected every week.
Seasonal brown bin collections take place between March and November.
The brown bin collection service is suspended for the winter.
You can still recycle your garden waste at Pottery Street and Kirn Drive Recycling Centres between 8am and 6pm
Delivery of replacement brown bins is temporarily suspended.
Requests for replacement brown bins can be made from mid February 2019 in anticipation of the recommencement of the garden waste collection service.
The service is scheduled to recommence in Spring 2019.
