DATE AND TIME – Sunday 26 January 2025 at 10am ORGANISATION – The Boys’ Brigade 12th Greenock Company and The Girls’ Brigade 7th Greenock Company PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK Wellpark Mid Kirk via Antigua Street, Hope Street, Lynedoch Street, Regent Street, Terrace Road, Cathcart Street, Cathcart Square. On the return, the procession will proceed to Station Road via Clyde Square/William Street, Cathcart Square, Cathcart Street, Station Road. NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 150 REASON – centenary celebration |
DATE AND TIME – Sunday 16 March 2025 at 1.15pm ORGANISATION – The Boys’ Brigade – Inverclyde & District Battalion. PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK and will proceed to the Mount Kirk via Means St and Dempster St. On the return, the procession will reform on Dempster St between Murdieston St and Brachelston St and will proceed to Dempster St at the junction with Ann St. NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 250 REASON – annual founders day parade of the Boys’ Brigade |

PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK The procession will depart from Terrace Rd and proceed along Regent St, Roxburgh St, Duncan St, Wellington St, Bank St, Roxburgh St, Regent St, back to Terrace Rd where the procession will terminate.

DATE AND TIME – Sunday 11 May 2025 10.20am ORGANISATION – 2nd Gourock Boys Brigade and 4th Gourock Guides Company PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The procession will depart from Binnie Street at BT Building and proceed to John St, Shore St, Pierhead, Kempock Pl , Bath St and up to St.John’s Church. On the return, the procession will proceed from Bath Street, to Kempock Pl, Pierhead , Shore St, John St and onto Binnie St for dismissal at the BT Building. NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 100 persons REASON – To attend the annual end of session Youth service at St John’s Church , Bath Street , Gourock. |
DATE AND TIME – Saturday 7 June 2025 9.30am ORGANISATION – Greenock Murray Club Apprentice Boys of Derry PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK The procession will depart from Terrace Rd and proceed along Regent St, Sir Michael St, High St, West Stewart St, Jamaica St, West Blackhall St, Dalrymple St, Hood St, Clarence St. On the return the procession will proceed along Broomhill St, Prospecthill St, Ann St, Dempster St, Bank St, Roxburgh St, Regent St to Terrace Rd. NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 50 persons REASON – Annual Relief of Derry Celebration |
DATE AND TIME – Sunday 8 June 2025 at 1.45pm ORGANISATION – Gryffeside Charity Tractor Run PROPOSED ROUTE – KILMACOLM/ PORT GLASGOW The procession will depart from Gryffeside Farm and will proceed along Auchentiber Rd, Auchenbothie Rd, Dougliehill Rd, B788 High Greenock Rd, Gateside Rd, Killochries Rd, B786 Lochwinnoch Rd, B788 High Greenock Rd, Blacksholm Rd back to Gryffeside Farm. NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 50 persons REASON – To raise money for Cancer Research UK and Dementia UK |
DATE AND TIME – Saturday 21 June 2025 at 4pm ORGANISATION – Gourock Defenders of the Faith LOL 345 PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The procession will depart from Darroch Car Park and proceed along Drumshantie Rd, Kirn Dr, Arran Rd, MacMillan Dr, Skye Crescent, Iona Crescent, Queensway, Ailsa Rd, Divert Rd, Bute St, Arran Rd, Tower to return to Drumshantie Rd and Darroch Car Park for dispersal. NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 70 persons REASON – Annual Parade |
DATE AND TIME – Sunday 22 June 2025 at 11am ORGANISATION – Port Glasgow Runners (Port Glasgow 10k) PROPOSED ROUTE – PORT GLASGOW The procession will depart from Coronation Park onto Mirren Shore, proceeding along Anderson St, Lithgow Way, Crunes Way, Scott Way, Port Glasgow Rd, Ardgowan St, Orchard Crescent, Kingston Crescent, Scott Way, Anderson St, Mirren Shore back to Coronation Park. The procession will then leave Coronation Park and will proceed along the footpath to the south of Port Glasgow Community Fire Station, Castle Rd, Boardwalk, Parklea Rd to Kelburn Park. The procession will leave Kelburn Park at the Boardwalk and follow the active travel route to Newark Castle entrance gates. The procession will then turn right onto Castle Rd and follow the path to the south of Port Glasgow Community Fire Station finishing at the Steam Hammer monument. NO.
