Inverclyde’s Health Improvement team provides specialist health improvement and health inequalities information, advice and support across the Inverclyde area. We work closely with local communities, Inverclyde Alliance partners and wider partners to improve health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities in health. We ensure health improving activities and programmes are up to date, relevant and reflect the health needs of the population of Inverclyde.
The work we do ensures we are addressing the health needs of people in Inverclyde. It is aligned to the vision of the Inverclyde Alliance, Inverclyde Community Planning Partnership, by ensuring we are ‘Getting it right for every Child, Citizen and Community’. We will also support the Alliance to achieve the wellbeing outcomes set out in the Single Outcome Agreement (SOA), to ensure that every child, citizen and community in Inverclyde are safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected, responsible and included.
