Important Bin Collection Update
We are all working hard to continue delivering your key services wherever possible.
However, as of Monday 30 March until further notice, we will be making the following changes to your bin collections:
Weekly food waste collections resumed on Monday 18 May. Following a temporary suspension of the service, green food waste containers are being emptied once again. The kerbside containers are collected every week and should be placed alongside residual waste (black/grey) bins by 7am on regular collection days.
Please place all household waste in your black residual waste bin. No blue bins will be collected until further notice.
The sale of garden waste permits has resumed. To register and pay for your permit please follow the link.
Please note, the fulfilment company responsible for the processing, printing and distribution of garden waste permits has informed us that they are operating with a reduced work force during the covid-19 pandemic.
We are in regular dialogue with the company and have their assurance that they are trying to keep delivery times for garden waste permits below 14 days.
We apologise if you experience any inconvenience whilst waiting for your garden waste permit.
Brown bins with permits should be placed out fortnightly on your normal recycling collection day.
Brown Bins (garden waste) without a permit will not be collected.
We will now collect your black residual waste bin every week. Please place your black bin out by 7am on your usual collection day every week. No side waste will be collected.
High Rise and Tenemental Recycling Collection Service
The High Rise and Tenemental Recycling Collection Service is suspended until further notice.
This is a temporary change in service. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
